Connected in three steps

You set up the connection in your assistant, not in the portal. It takes a minute and can be disconnected at any time.

Sign in and allow
MENURY opens the sign-in. You see which restaurants and rights the assistant gets and choose “Allow read only” if you wish.

Setup

How to set up your assistant

Enter the address once, sign in, allow. After that, the assistant remembers the connection.

Claude (web, app and desktop)Customize, then Connectors, “Add”, “Add custom connector”: name MENURY, address as above, “Continue”. Then sign in to MENURY and allow.
ChatGPTIn the browser, “Plugins”, then the add button, “Add custom MCP server”: name MENURY, address as above, OAuth. According to OpenAI, editing works with Business, Enterprise and Edu; with Pro, read only.
Claude CodeIn the terminal claude mcp add --transport http menury https://menury.com/mcp, then /mcp in the conversation and “Authenticate”.

What the assistant can do

Everything that matters on the menu

The assistant works by the same rules as the restaurant portal: same required fields, same lengths, same allergens from the catalogue.

Read and search the menu

It knows categories, dishes, prices, descriptions, variants and allergens of all restaurants in your account.

Change prices and texts

“All pizzas 50 cents more” or “shorter description for the lasagne”: the assistant calculates and writes, you confirm.

Add dishes

New dishes with price, description, variants and allergens from the catalogue, in the right category.

Maintain categories

Create and rename categories, subcategories down to the third level, as in the portal.

Show and hide

Hide seasonal menus or sold-out dishes and show them again later. Sub-items follow.

Everything logged

Every change with before and after, time and assistant, visible under Settings › Integrations.

What the assistant cannot do: Upload photos, change add-ons and schedules, or replace the whole menu at once. It deletes a single dish only after your explicit confirmation.

Security

You stay in control

Approval as with Google or MicrosoftThe assistant never gets your password. You sign in to MENURY and allow access on a dedicated page.
Read only, if you wishWhen allowing, choose “Read only”. The assistant can then advise and look things up, but change nothing.
Disconnect at any timeUnder Settings › Integrations you see all connected apps and disconnect them with one click. Access ends immediately.
Built-in limitsAt most 500 changes per day per account, no deleting of whole categories, and every change with old and new state in the log.
Only your menuGuest data, reservations, orders and invoices stay out. The assistant only sees restaurants and menus.

Frequently asked questions about the AI connection

What does the AI connection cost?

Nothing extra at MENURY: it is included in Premium. What your assistant costs depends on its plan.

Which assistants work?

Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Gemini via Antigravity (as of November 2026) and all applications that support MCP over HTTP with OAuth. You can connect several assistants at the same time.

Which data does the assistant see?

The names and MENURY IDs of your restaurants and the content of the menus. MENURY does not transmit guest data, reservations, orders, invoices or login details. More in the privacy policy.

Can the assistant break anything?

It only changes what you ask it to and follows the same rules as the portal. It deletes single dishes only after asking, and it cannot replace the whole menu. Every change is in the log with before and after, and you can undo it in the portal at any time.

I have several restaurants. Which one does the assistant edit?

It knows all restaurants in your account and asks which one you mean if you do not say.

How do I disconnect?

In the restaurant portal under Settings › Integrations with “Disconnect”, or in the assistant by removing the connector. Both take effect immediately.

Is my menu used to train AI?

MENURY passes your data only to the assistant you connect, and only for your own requests. What the provider of the assistant does with it is governed by its terms, for Claude and ChatGPT by the settings of your own account.
